Day 1

FRANCE / NEW YORK

Flight to New York for your organized stay. On arrival, shuttle transfer or scheduled transfer to your Sheraton Hotel in Manhattan, where your guide will be waiting for you to check in.

You will be issued with a metro card valid for the duration of your stay (depending on your arrival times, it may be issued the following morning).

Free time to explore the city on your own. Dinner on your own.

Day 2

NEW YORK

Breakfast.

Tour of Manhattan. You'll discover Times Square and its huge illuminated billboards, Grand Central Station, Washington Square Park, the Flatiron Building and Empire State Building. Then on to the Union Square Greenmarket, where you can stroll along the stalls, sample local produce and taste local specialties like a true New Yorker. Visit Greenwich Village along its tree-lined streets, Soho and Chinatown, Manhattan's authentic ethnic enclaves. Finally, a visit to Wall Street in the Financial District.

Chinese lunch.

Weather permitting, you'll walk across the famous Brooklyn Bridge, a 19th-century structure that spans the East River and takes you into the Brooklyn district. Take a stroll through the trendy DUMBO district, on the banks of the East River, to photograph the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge, then free time for some vintage shopping opportunities. A few steps away, take in the hip atmosphere of this very artistic city by strolling through the Brooklyn Flea Market, described by the New York Times as "One of the great urban experiences in New York! It's the ideal place to pick up unique local souvenirs at affordable prices.

Return to hotel by metro. Evening and dinner at leisure.

Day 3

NEW YORK

Breakfast.

Transfer by subway to Central Park to start your day with a stroll through New York's green lung, including the Bethesda Fountain and Strawberry Field, where the benevolent shadow of John Lennon hangs in the air.

Then off to Harlem, the capital of the black American world, with the Sugar Hill district, renowned for its magnificent mansions built during Harlem's Golden Age, and the temple of jazz, the famous Apollo Theater. Home to a large part of the black and Hispanic communities, Harlem is a mecca for the heritage of black American culture, which has been marked by such luminaries as MalcolmX and Martin Luther King. Admire the gigantic Saint John The Divine Cathedral from the outside.

Then you'll be treated to a real gospel mass organized by the people of Harlem. Gospel music in Harlem is characterized by moving songs. The singers will surprise you with the power of their voices and the conviction of their songs, true cries from the heart.

Stay in the mood with a soul food brunch.

We then take you for a stroll on Roosevelt Island. Here, you can discover Freedom Park, which offers a beautiful view across the East River, and take a timeless stroll with breathtaking views of the city.

Return to Manhattan by public transport to Rockfeller Center. You'll receive a ticket for the Top of the Rock, allowing you to complete the Manhattan panorama with an unforgettable view of Central Park and the Empire State Building.

Return to the hotel at your leisure, using the Metro pass or on foot. Evening and dinner at your leisure.

Day 4

NEW YORK

Breakfast.

Continuation of your New York City sightseeing tour with English-speaking guide. Take the subway to Battery Park to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, the most famous monument in New York, and perhaps even in the USA, and the most pleasing representation of the American Dream. Its attraction is hard to resist. Next stop is the Immigrant Museum on Ellis Island, which recounts the harsh realities of the early days in the New World. Nearly 15 million immigrants were welcomed onto American soil between 1890 and 1920. An essential visit to understand part of the history of the American territory.

Lunch, followed by a visit to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, one of New York's best-known museums, built as a tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks. On this moving tour, you'll see the steel pillars of the Twin Towers, objects found in the rubble of the attacks, and hear some of the survivors' stories. Not far from the museum, don't miss a visit to the magnificent Oculus structure, an imposing work of architecture.

Then you'll discover the National Museum of the American Indian, a Smithsonian museum dedicated to the American Indian, a visit in the continuity of the migratory movements highlighted by that of Ellis Island. Return to the hotel on your own, using your metro card.

Evening and dinner at leisure.

Day 5

NEW YORK / FRANCE

Breakfast.

Free morning to learn more about the city or do some shopping before you leave.

Lunch on your own. Depending on your flight schedule, meet in your hotel lobby for transfer to the airport.

Flight to France. Dinner and overnight on board.

In the late afternoon, meet your guide and depart for a pleasant evening. Stop at Little Island, the new park on stilts, a unique urban oasis floating on the water. Stroll through the Meetpacking District, with its cobblestone streets and post-industrial buildings, Greenwich Village, Soho, Chinatown and Little Italy.

Dinner in Little Italy followed by cocktails on a rooftop overlooking Manhattan.

Return to hotel late evening.

Day 6

FRANCE

Breakfast on board. Arrival in France.
